What encouraged you to sponsor the Torfaen Community and Volunteer Awards?

We work well with numerous local businesses and have many locally based employees, we are keen to be the employers of choice for the area and to forge strong links with organisations across the whole of the Torfaen community which can only contribute positively towards this goal!

Why you’re sponsoring Arts, Culture and Heritage Volunteer/Group of the Year?

Our site is in Blaenavon, a ‘World Heritage’ Town, and it is steeped in history and culture, we respect the history of the area and how the local people have contributed massively to the Arts, Culture and Heritage of Blaenavon and the surrounding areas and we want to promote and encourage people to continue this for years to come.

Why are awards like TCVA important?

Awards such as these are vital to recognise and celebrate the tireless voluntary work which is done by so many individual people and organisations, these people should be rewarded by the communities they serve which will in turn encourage others to join the ranks and try to create a better future!
