Building Community Capacity

TVA played an active role in developing the Communities Wellbeing Strategy, which emphasises collaborating with communities and co-designing solutions rather than imposing them. These initiatives reflect those principles, amplifying the collective efforts of our partners to empower local people and enable the voluntary sector to drive meaningful, positive change.

As an umbrella organisation, TVA recognises that achieving our goals depends on inspiring others to join us on this journey. By supporting our communities and members, we aim to build their capacity and capability to move forward together.

Initiatives like Communities Choice, Connect Torfaen and Opening Doors have provided a strong foundation for deepening our role within communities.
