This is an exciting opportunity to work with archive and heritage services across Wales on the Welsh Government funded #CrowdCrymru project.

#CrowdCymru is a working partnership with Cardiff University Special Collections and Archives, Conwy Archives, Carmarthenshire Archives, Glamorgan Archives, Gwent Archives, Swansea University Libraries and Archives, University of Wales Trinity St Davids Special Collections and Archives, and the National Library of Wales to deliver digital volunteer opportunities and help improve information about our heritage collections.

Engagement Officer - Gwent Archives

This is an exciting opportunity to work with archive and heritage services across Wales on the Welsh Government funded #CrowdCrymru project.

We are looking for an Engagement Officer to work with Archives and Records Council Wales (ARCW) and its member services on a Welsh Government funded project to implement the new ARCW Marketing Strategy that’s currently in development. Archives are vital to preserve the history of our communities, help people to connect with their heritage and essential for evidence and accountability. This project will support the delivery of the Culture Strategy for Wales through advocacy to reach new audiences, improve the awareness and use of collections by people in currently under-represented communities, and support the archive sector to improve standards and work innovatively.
