What encouraged you to sponsor the Torfaen Community and Volunteer Awards?

The awards are a wonderful celebration and testament to the outstanding work of individuals and organisations in the community we serve. We want to ensure these awards continue and our unsung heroes get the recognition they deserve.

Why you’re sponsoring Trustee?

Trustees bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and inspiration. Trustees openly share their skills to strengthen and guide organisations from the core, in both fruitful and challenging times. This award praises the outstanding dedication and commitment to an organisation by an individual Trustee.

Why are awards like TCVA important?

Not only do the awards give much needed recognition to individuals, it is also a way to promote some of the amazing local organisations and their brilliant work. It also showcases how volunteering benefits both communities and the people who take part.

Why is it important to showcase Torfaen in this way?

As a Community Council, we strive to empower our local community. In recognising the achievements within local organisations, by volunteers and within local businesses, we hope to further inspire others to make a positive difference in our community.
