Community Development Grant | To help develop activities in our communities that encourages community ownership, develops independence and makes a lasting difference to people’s lives. It is expected the projects will deliver one or more of the following: · Build strength and resilience within the community, community organisations and groups. · Provide projects where activity can be maintained and continued without running out of resources in the long term. · Support activities and projects that demonstrate continuing growth and development to become self-sufficient. · Support organisations and groups to increase social involvement from community members and participants and create additional engagement with the wider community. · Community groups and organisations develop and adopt an aspect of income generation to work towards becoming self-sustaining. | Grants up to £40,000 | 22nd April 2024 | To be eligible for grant funding your project will build strength and resilience within the community and community organisations. The project must engage the wider community and increase engagement and footfall.
