The Place to go for members of the public.
As well as ensuring Third Sector Organisations are supported in Torfaen, we aim to ensure members of the public can get the support they need too. From here you can find contact details for a few organisations that can provide advice & support.
Citizens Advice is an independent organisation specialising in confidential information and advice to assist people with legal, debt, consumer, housing and other problems.
We work with people experiencing challenges with their mental health, and with communities who want to create a greater sense of connection, ownership and wellbeing in the places they live.
We’re here for anyone in a situation that makes it hard to live safely at home. That could be due to mental health problems, substance misuse, domestic violence or other challenges. We provide the space, support and skills for those times when people are ready to build themselves a brighter, safer future.
Torfaen Connectors support and enable people to find suitable activities, groups and networks that join like minded people who may have similar interests. This helps encourage participation and engagement in the community and builds self-confidence, resilience and well-being.
Housing support can help you access the tools and skills needed to find accommodation and live independently in your own home.
We aim to help people to get where they want to be in life, we believe in people. We provide accommodation, support, advice, education, training and employment.
