Post Communities Choice Engagement Officer
Salary £28,770 pro rata (fixed term 30th September 2025)
Hours 34 hours per week
Location Base Portland Buildings, Pontypool, and Outreach
We are looking to expand the Communities Choice team with a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as the Community Choice Engagement Officer, working alongside the Communities Choice Coordinator to support the Torfaen Participatory Budget Scheme.
In this role, you will complement the efforts of the coordinator by enhancing community outreach, promoting participation, and empowering residents to develop project ideas that improve local well-being. Your work will focus on facilitating partnerships, delivering workshops, and ensuring that residents are engaged and supported throughout the participatory budgeting process.

We are seeking trustees who are passionate about our cause, share our
values, and want to use their skills and experience to help us make a
difference. Trustees are unpaid directors, who work together to oversee the
strategy, direction and aims of the organisation.
We would welcome any individual interest. However, particularly
seeking someone with some HR, finance, or legal experience.
